CASEing the Catty CTC #96 – Big shot

Welcome to another CASEing the Catty post.  For this challenge the CASEing the Catty crew are focusing their favourite the Big shot section of the holiday catalogue, pages 8 to 11.

My inspiration for this challenge is the card on page 10.

I always like to make Christmas cards using non-traditional colours.  I used Basic Gray and Smokey Slate for the card stock. I used Basic Gray ink and the Merry Medley background stamp, which is a new stamp from the holiday catalogue.  The sentiment embossed with silver embossing powder is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set. The wreath is cut using one of the Swirly Scribbles thinlits in silver foil and silver glimmer paper.

Thanks for dropping by. Don’t forget to check out the blog hop by clicking on the image below.

Happy stamping

  1. This card reminds me of a subway art theme Cathy – love your take on the inspiration from the catty. Thanks for joining us at CTC!

  2. I love non-traditional xmas colours too. Love the grey background, silver wreath, and touch of red. Very cool! Thanks for joining us at CTC.
