Two Challenges, one card

This week I don’t have time to make two separate projects for two different challenge groups on Facebook, so instead I decided to make one card that will cover off the separate design requirements for both challenges. Two birds, one stone. You know the saying. Anyhow the two challenges in question are the Colour INKspiration group  challenge CI17 and CASEing the Catty group challenge CTC146.

Lets start of what colours are in the Colour INKspiration challenge.

They are: Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Tempting Turquoise and Flirty Flamingo.

Now that I had a colour scheme I need to CASE some from the Season of Glitz section of the 2017 Stampin’ Up! holiday catalogue, pages 20 to 27 for the CASEing the Catty challenged.

I decided to case the card on the bottom left-hand corner of page 25.  I CASEd the layout of the card and because these colours seem to suggest Summer to me rather than spring, I just had to use the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set.

I used two of the shell stamps from the Beachy Little Christmas stamp set to stamp the card background and the banner in the centre of the card. The centre panel is Lemon Lime Twist from the Fresh Florals DSP stack.  The beach shack and the coconut palm trees have been coloured with a combination of ink and blender pen, stamp n write markers and watercolour pencils.

Used in this project:

Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party, Tempting Turquoise, Fresh Florals DSP, paper doilie

Ink: Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Tempting Turquoise, Flirty Flamingo

Stamps: Beachy Little Christmas

Happy stamping

EDIT:  I won the Colour INKspiration colour challenge with this card.
