It’s been a month since I have done a colour challenge for the Colour INKspiration Facebook group challenge. That was challenge CI19. I just have been so busy with other things happening in my life and trips away that I just didn’t get time to do the challenge two weeks ago. I still might do the colour challenge CI20. Anyway lets get on with what I made for challenge CI21.
The colours for challenge #21 are: Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron, Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sky.
I decided that I was going to give you a sneak peak of one of the stamp sets that is going be a Sale-a-bration stamp set, available as a free gift with a purchase of $90.00 AUD. This stamp set is called Beautiful Peacock. Sale-a-bration will start in January 2018 and will go for 3 months.
Before starting this card I rummaged through my stash to find some retired DSP and embellishements that would fit in with the colour scheme of this challenge. I started with the card base of Soft Sky and some long retired Rose Red DSP as the background. Next I cut out a happy birthday out of some Soft Sky DSP. Next was the stamp set.
Beautiful Peacock is a two set stamp set that give you options to do a variety of different tails. I’ve used two of the tail stamps to create the tail for my peacock.
The last thing was to add some bling to the card with Glitter enamel dots and some retired colour dots.
Used in this project:
Paper: Soft Sky, Rose Red DSP, Soft Sky DSPWhisper White
Ink: Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron, Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz
Stamps: Beautiful Peacock
