Currently there are two colour challenges on the Colour INKspiration Facebook group challenge. A Beach Christmas colour scheme for challenge CI22 and a Nordic Christmas colour scheme for challene CI23. This post is for colour challenge CI23.
The colours for challenge #23 are: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Basic Black Whisper White and Silver Foil.
I decided to do a very quick project for this challenge. I started with a mini pizza boxes that are available in the holiday catalogue. The top of the box has been decorated with silver foil that is matted with Crumb Cake card stock. I went though my stash of retired ribbons and found the natural chevron ribbon which is a close enough match to the Crumb Cake card stock.
The next two layers for the top of the box were stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I first stamped the Merry Medley stamp on Basic Black card stock. I the cut out a section of the stamped image with the Stitched Shapes framelits. I used a stamp on the Merry Little Labels stamp set on Real Red for the final layer. I wrapped 7/8″ black stripped ribbon around the sides of the box.
Lately my all my projects have some sort of bling. This one is no different. I looked through my stash of retire embellishments and found a couple of things from a few years ago. A silver rhinestone embellishment and silver sequins.
Used in this project:
Paper: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Basic Black, Silver Foil, white mini pizza box
Ink: Versa Mark
Stamps: Merry Medley, Merry Little Labels
