Welcome to another Colour INKspriation blog hop. You may have started here or you may have hopped over to my page from Jan Clothier’s page.
The colours for this challenge are: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Crushed Curry and Call Me Clover. You may add Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! substitute.
Some months ago, I saw an easel card that used the Bird Banter stamp spanning across a hole in the card. I can’t remember whether I saw the card on Facebook or Pinterest. When I came to making a card for this challenge I remembered the card I saw. I made the easel card base from Crumb Cake card stock. I rummage around in my retired DSP (designer series paper) that I #loveitchopit and I found some DSP that is mostly Crumb Cake. This is from the Christmas themed Candy Cane Lane DSP.
I attached a sticker from the Eastern gold vinyl sicker set, thee used a die from Layering Circles to cut a whole through the card. The birds, flowers and branches were stamped on Whisper White card stock with Momento ink. The birds and flower centres have been water coloured with Crushed Curry ink. Some shading was added with the dark Daffodil Delight blends marker.
The leaves and branches have been coloured with Call Me Clover and Crumb Cake blends markers.
The sentiment is from the Bird Banter stamp set and stamped with Call Me Clover ink on Crushed Curry card stock which has been cut out with the Stitched Nested Labels dies.
