Welcome to an ESAD blog hop. You may have come to my blog from Narelle’s blog. The theme of the blog hop today is to show case items from the Stampin’ Up! January to June 2020 mini catalogue and the Sale-a-bration, which goes on sale from 3 January.
In my first project I will be featuring items from the Tropical Oasis Suite of products on page 38 to 40 of the new mini catalogue. I used two different designs of DSP (designer series paper) from the Tropical Oasis DSP. One of them was cut out using the Stitched Labels dies which makes a nice contrast against the pineapple design paper. I then stamped some frangipani in Grapefruit Grove ink that had been stamped off once, using the frangipani stamp the Timeless Tropical stamp set. I sponged some So Saffron ink in the centres of the frangipani.
The frangipani and white flowers were cut out using the In the Tropics dies. The sentiment has been stamped in Grapefruit Grove ink on Whisper White card stock and cut out using the Stitched Labels dies again. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty stamp set. Some glitter enamel dots and retired ribbon were used to embellish the design.
Used in this project:
Paper: So Saffron, Whisper White, Tropical Oasis DSP
Stamps: Timeless Tropical, Itty Bitty Birthdays
Ink: Grapefruit Grove, So Saffron
Die cutting and embossing tools: Stitched labels dies, In the Tropic Dies
Embellishments: glitter enamel dots, ribbon (retired)
Just by buying the Timeless Tropical stamp and die bundle, you can qualify to get a free item during Sale-a-bration. Such as the Lily Impressions DSP I used in my second project. I used a piece of of the DSP and mounted it onto a Blackberry Bliss card base. I want to combine the slightly less new and the new with this card so I used stamps from the Floral Essense stamp set for the flowers and leaves. I’ve used Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green ink for the flowers and leaves. The sentiment again comes from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set and is stamped with Blackberry ink that has been stamped off once on to Pool Party card stock and cut out using the Stitched Labels dies. I’ve added a single glitter enamel dot and some retired ribbon for embellishment.
Used in this project:
Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Pool Party, Lily Impressions DSP
Stamps: Floral Essense, Itty Bitty Birthdays
Ink: Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss
Die cutting and embossing tools: Stitched labels dies,
Punch: leaf
Embellishments: glitter enamel dots, ribbon (retired)
