Welcome to Colour INKspriation #164 Colour INKspiration is a challenge group on Facebook that sets a colour challenge every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month using Stampin’ Up! colours. Inspiration pictures are usually from Pinterest. As a design team member, we make cards and projects to inspire people in the challenge.
The colours for this challenge are: Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis. There is a standard set of colours you can add to your challenge projects if they are not already part of the challenge colour palette. You may add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU (Stampin’ Up!) substitute.
For this challenge you just need to choose 1 or more of the challenge colours. I made a Mother’s day card using all 5 colours.
For this card I have used the Flower Cart stamps and dies bundle. If your are interested in owning this bundle you only have a few more days to purchase this bundle with a 10% discount. I’ve used the retiring Incolor inks to stamp the flower cart. The sentiment is also from the Flower Cart stamp set. The border around the sentiment is cut out using the Unbound Love dies which is in the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue which starts on 1 May 2024. I’ve used brushed brass butterflies to embellish the card.
