Welcome to first Colour INKspriation blog hop of 2020. Colour INKspiration is a challenge group on Facebook that sets a colour challenge approximately every two weeks using Stampin’ Up! colours. Inspiration pictures are from Pinterest. For today’s blog hop you may have started here or you may have hopped over to my page from Jan Clothier’s page.
Today’s Colour INKspiration challenge is a little different from the normal format of the challenges. Normally you are given a set group of colours but in this challenge you can pick 3 of your favourite Stampin’ Up! colours. For this challenge, I have chosen: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana. You may add Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ and ‘Bronze’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute.
As well as getting to chose what colours I want to use, the theme for this challenge is Birthdays. For that reason I have decided to use the 2020 Sale-a-bration (SAB) stamp set, Happy Birthday to You, which you can get for free when you spend a minimum of $90 AUD on Stampin’ Up! products.
Used in this project:
Paper: Whisper White, water colour, Coastal Cabana
Ink: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate, Versamark, Momento
Blends: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate
Stamps: Happy Birthday to You
Die Cutting and Embossing tools: stitched rectangle dies
Tools: aqua painter, white embossing powder.
Embellishments: glitter enamel dots
All items listed above are available through my online store. If you live in Australia, just click on the shopping cart in the left hand column of this page.

The cake looks gorgeous with those bright flowers. The water-coloured one is also great.
Both cards are beautiful Cathy, but I especially love the water coloured effect on your second card it’s so stunning and soft.
