Welcome to an ESAD blog hop. You may have come to my blog from Lou’s blog. The theme of the blog hop today is to show case retiring products from the 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue.
It’s been a while since I’ve done an ESAD blog hop but I thought I would do this one as it time to say good bye to one of my favourite retiring bundles, the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and matching Magnolia Memory dies. I’ve done a number of projects over the last year or so using the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and I thought I would do another recreating a card design I’ve used for this stamp set before but in a different colour way.
I’ve recreated this card using one of the retiring InColors, Rococo Rose. The magnolia was stamped in Memento ink and has been coloured using the retiring Blends markers in Rococo Rose and Rich Razzelbery for the petals. Olid Olive and Mossy Meadow were used for the leaves and Cinnamon Cider for the stem. Ribbon and rhinestones were added for embellishment.
The sentiment has been put together using stamps from the A Wish for Everything stamp set, stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Used in this project:
Paper: Basic White, Basic Black, Rococo Rose (retiring), Oh So Ombre DSP (Sale-a-bration item)
Stamps: Good Morning Magnolia, A Wish for Everything
Ink: Memento, VersaMark, Rococo Rose (retiring)
Blends: Rococo Rose (retiring), Rich Razzleberry (retiring), Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Cinnamon Cider, colour lifter
Die cutting and embossing tools: cut and emboss machine, Magnolia Memory dies, Tasteful Labels dies
Tools: Heat tool, white embossing powder
Embellishments: glittered organdy ribbon, black rhinestones (retired)
Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal, dimensionals, mini dimensionals, multipurpose liquid glue,
All items listed above for these projects (except retired or random items) are available through my online store. If you live in Australia, just click on the shopping cart in the left hand column of this page or click on the links where I have listed what I have used for this project.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Now it is time to hop over to Sharni’s blog to check out what she has made. Should you get lost there is a list of participants below so you can rejoin the hop.
Happy stamping
